Ao Nang is a village on the coast in Krabi province about 17Kms from Krabi town. It is developing rapidly as a tourist resort mainly because of the spectacular scenery in the area, particularly the coastline and nearby islands.

From Krabi bus station - can catch local white minibus ( songteaw) direct to Aonang Grand Inn ( 50 mins.) 10 minutes from Railay beach and Tonsai bay by long tail boat 40 minutes from Phi Phi Island by speed boat. 3.5 hrs. from Haadyai by mininvan. 2 hrs. from Phuket by ferry boat , 2.5 hrs by minivan. 30 minutes by plane and 6 hrs. by bus + ferry boat from Koh Samui . 6 hrs. by bus + ferry boat from Koh Phangan ( full moon party) 60 minutes from Bangkok by plane.
