Wonderful peaceful place, great snorkling and very nice team. Much nicer then the other, more expensive hotels, next to it.

My girl and I spent two nights at this resort and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Even though the weather was not all that great, our stay was made more enjoyable by Andrew and his friendly staff. Excellent food and drinks. If you are looking for a place to just sit back and soak up the peace and quiet then this is definitely the place to be. Was a great change from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas. You don t have all the modern luxuries (hot water, air conditioning etc) like the bigger and fancier resorts, but if you read the reviews you will know what to expect when you get there. Only negative side was the new bungalow we stayed in had some toilet plumbing problems but Andrew and his staff went out of there way to try and fix the problem. Will be planning another trip to Thailand in a couple of years and will definitely make this resort a part of the itinerary. Congratulations to Andrew and his staff on running a small touch of paradise. See you in a couple of years.

Cannot fault the booking service provided for this resort

What a fabulous place! The location is perfect. I loved it and would love to come back some day. The staff is extremely welcoming and make every effort to help you. The food is fantastic. I enjoyed the hike over the mountain to Ton Sai Beach and snorkeling straight from Phak Nam Bay. The only suggestion I have is to include the cost of the transfer from the ferry and back (charge the same, just put into the room cost). Thank you for everything!

Fine.

This was the highlight of our stay in Thailand. Great snorkeling, swimming and laxing, friendly happy staff,(many thanks to Manager Andrew and our waitress Juk, for whom nothing was to much trouble, also all the others, lovely lovely people) Good food,(reasonably priced with plenty of choice but unless you have your own snack food and drink or make the 45 min pituresque hike to Ton sei, you have to eat and drink from the resorts menu) Quaint Thai style cottages on stilts (clean and comfortable, bed and bathroom only) right on the pretty much deserted white sandy beach, absolutely wonderful, back to basics though,no power during the day, limited power at night, enough to run the small fan but not enough light to read by when mosquito nets pulled,( plenty of light, company, and internet service in the dining area) Cold water only, (no big deal as mostly its hot) Advertised massage unavailable (may have been because of the off season) The above are only comments so that travelers know what to expect, they do not detract from this gorgeous place, I hope it stays just as it is, pretty and unspoilt, not too many people, no Tuk Tuks and no shops. We will go back and have already recommended it to many of our friends.

Great easy service and back up, we will use this service for future trips.

The service is ok, clean huts only they are only cleaned every other day. Some huts at the beachfront have trees in front of them..no view of the sea. The thaifood is nice but some dishes are adapted to tourists. I have never gotten fish filets for a dish that normally consists of a whole fried fish (Plaa saam rod). The staff and the owner are friendly but he s a bit to much focused on making money. When people were using the internet service he got online himself as well which slowed down the connection even more.. But better stay at this resort than on the other side of the island which is inhabited by jaded thai people. They re only nice because they want to make money.. if you turn them down they say nasty things (in thai). The walk through the jungle is nice but you have to keep up the pace because of the moskito s. Once you get over the hill you are invited by rubbish and shamefull shacks. Tourism has both ruined the atmosphere and the mentality of the people (at tonsai bay). Prices on the whole island are doubled up to 500% in some occasions. I bought a bottle of water for 30 baht which normally costs 7 baht. Ok, they have to make up for transfer costs ofcourse but this makes no sense. Overall my stay was ok but noth worth staying longer than 3 days, at night there is power but only untill 0400 or so and your fan will stop, enjoy the heat. People start to work at 0600 and boats will run also at that time, at the beachfront you will notice. So better go sleep early, you will be woken up. Better take one of the huts at the hillside or garden, forget about the seaview. They are building more huts, i m afraid this will become a crowded place as well. In 15 years of travelling to thailand, phi phi has become one of the worst places i have ever seen. Will never go again, execpt for diving there.

As expected, excellent service.

The hotel is very rustic, but very picturesque. The room is basic, so if you re looking for a 5-star resort this isn t the place for you. The bathrooms are not a selling point, but they work. There s NO hot water, so make sure you have your shower when you re reasonable warm. During high tide tide the beach is stunning. It is truly something out of a movie. Durning low tide the beach isn t so pretty, but luckily the majority of the day is high tide. The staff and the other guests are what make this resort awesome!! The staff make an effort to learn your names and are very friendly. The restaurant has a variety of food (Western and Thai) and it is all delicious! It s a little more pricery than in town, but it s totally worth it. Make sure to try their shakes! Overall, if you re looking for a nice place to relax and do just about nothing else, then Phi Phi Relax Beach Resort is the place to go!

The booking service was easy and convenient.

i was staying at phi phi hotel for 3 days and i wanted to sus this resort before i go to it,so i went to the pier to take a longtail boat but owners were all asking between 600 and 800 baht one way.so i started walking up a steephill to phi phi viewpoint it took me 40 minutes to get there.and from there walked downhill to the other side of the island throug dense jungle to get to the resort(another 45 minutes) all up 85 min one way of hard walk.i forgo my booking and took a boat back to tonsai bay.

Expensive for what you get. Okay this is a quiet beach, but nothing more than four walls... Electricity not before 6pm, no warm shower, breakfast not included (and very expensive!!)... This is NOT a resort... We stayed three night and they never changed the (dirty) sheets... An advice : choose this place only if you plan to stay there for sun bath. People who stayed there were very friendly by the way. Lot of French and Scandinavian travellers. They made a mistake in the check out. They ask to pay the last night twice. Be careful of your bill!
