Phi Phi Relax Beach Resort, Phi Phi Island, Phak Nam Bay
Really a quiet, nice and beautiful place on PhiPhiDon, deserving the name Relax Beach . We enjoyed ourselves hanging out, having good Thai food, beautiful swimming and snorkeling at the beach. The only bad thing was that we had to leave after only three days again. We had a beachfront bungalow with fan, which was nice and tidy. We recommend having some DEED-containing mosquito blocker, otherwise those can be a plague. We can only recommend this hotel, its remarkably friendly staff and good facilities. 9.5 of 10 points!

The booking service replied almost instantly to our request, everything was to our utmost satisfaction.

Phi Phi Relax Beach Resort, Phi Phi Island, Phak Nam Bay
Both me and my husband did not stay the intended stay at Phi Phi Relax Beach Resort, we ended up leaving after our first nights stay. The resort was nice looking from about 100 feet out to sea, and we were excited. Although that excitement left quite fast as we first noticed that the beach was quite rocky and definitley not as the pictures on there website had shown. We were quite pushed into checking in, we had met a nice couple on the beach and the staff interuppted our nice conversation to tell us we needed to go to the office. I think they should of definitely let us do it in our own time. The man who seemed in charge was decent, although a little pushy. He told us they do not run the power in the day time, and that is what really threw us the loop. The website never mentioned this, and we find it important to run our computer etc. We had booked the most expensive room, and internet was included, but not for everyone else, which I think is bad. Also for the price we were paying it wasn t worth it. The power off, no coffee pot as advertised, only cold shower, bathroom smelly, mosquito net unhelpful. One thing we did enjoy was the restraunt food and staff, they were very nice and I would go there to eat again. The resort was also quite aways away, and the hotel does not include the longtail boat transfer which is about 20 minutes in your booking cost. They charge you and additional 150 baht per person, which again should be included. Our booked room also included a complimentary massage daily, which I did. I though it quite funny as they only have one massage-woman and two beds. Anyway, the lady was truly lovely but the whole hour felt like a sandpaper massage, I think she needs some pampering for her hands. Working all day massaging with oils doesn t seem to keep a persons hands smooth. I almost had to stop. We booked into another hotel for our second night on Phi phi which was 1/3 the price and we enjoyed it much better. I am sorry but I cannot recommend this resort. Possibly for an elderly couple who do not want much noise, pampering, or a good swimming or snorkelling area. :(

I very much enjoyed the booking process it was simple easy and I would do it again. Thank you.

Phi Phi Relax Beach Resort, Phi Phi Island, Phak Nam Bay
It is a real beautiful place and the staff is also very very friendly. Lush green woods on one side and the beatiful beach on the other is a pleasant experience. One thing which I would suggest people going there is please take Mosquito repellent with you as it is all green jungle, there are lots of mosquitoes.. I would suggest the hotel to provide with a mosquito repellent machine in the room apart from the moquito net. It will be helpful for the people staying there

This hotel I think is very good if you want to live simpel and just relax. The beach and the nature around it is very nice. And the food was great. The staff also was very nice and helpfull. But if you want to get in to town you have to take a loangboat and that can cost you betwen 200-800 bath, depans on when you want to go. The problems we had with it was the heat in the night (no aircon) and most the mosquitos. We left one day earlier becous of them. But I dont regret that we went there. For ous 2 nights were perfect..

Worked perfect

The staff was extremely nice and we had a nice bungalow right on the beach. The only problems were ants (we re a bit squeamish) but I m guessing that can t be avoided given the area. Also, there was a dead roach in our room the morning we checked out. Also, although the food was good at the restaurant, they almost always got our order wrong.

Phi Phi Relax Beach Resort, Phi Phi Island, Phak Nam Bay
We stayed 3 days. All was good, although 1st day was required to get accustomed to island lodging:) - electricity at night and col water. But it got quickly. Sea and beach was great. We got a C48 Coral Beach bungalow which has the best location to my mind. Our friend stayed at Garden View and it was very basic. I wouldn t stay there. Food s great but pricey. We spent 5000 THB for 3 days for 2 people. Unfortunately, we re too active people and missed the chance to relax. If I could, I would stay longer.

No problem. But I did booking in a very short notice b4 departure, so I could miss the voucher as it arrived in a couple of days only after reservation was made.

The hotel is great, just know what you re looking for in a resort. This place is pure tranquility and relaxation and you are definitely stuck there unless you take a hike or an outrageously priced taxi (600 baht stated price). But, for a few days, this is just what you need for an island vacation. Ocean View room was gorgeous, no problem with mosquitoes. Food was delicious and the staff was very accommodating for a romantic escape. Decent snorkeling and the hike through the jungle to the view point and city was a fun excursion, though not for the faint of heart (or lungs). We also stayed in Tonsai Bay in the city and absolutely hated it b/c of all the noise and nonstop party action Phi Phi has become. Wished we had booked more nights at the quiet Relax Beach instead.
