Travel reviews for Ambassador City Jomtien
Date of stay: Feb 05, 2011
Accommodation and facilities:
My friend fall down at the carpark area which was dark and slope a little. The reception was not very helpful and concierge say in Thai asking for Tips. She had an accident in the hotel. Hotel should be responsible to take care of her. She herself had to do first aid. And she d to ask to see the doc because her both knees got swellen.

Accommodation and facilities:
Hotel looks great when you walk in...but the rooms are in dire need of renovation/remodeling. Don t bother going for the more expensive rooms, they are just a bit longer than others. First room I was in had a horrible smell. All the rooms are decorated in various shades of brown! Even the metal fixtures have conformed and are turning lovely shades of rust.
I will not stay here again and do not recommend the place--there are much nicer, cheaper places.

Accommodation and facilities:
I used to stay at this hotel many times,\r\nthere are many rooms to suit your budget, the hotel is return old, and because it is a very large hotel with\r\nmore than 4000 rooms, when economy turn bad, some wings are closed. This time I\r\nstayed at the deluxe room of the Ocean Wing, it is okey for the cleanliness and service. Anyway I\ d like to suggest the hotel to have the blanket changed\r\nbecause I found it was very old. The location of the hotel is convenient, but\r\nif you want to go to Pataya beach, you have to drive for quite a while to get\r\nthe centre of Pataya.

Accommodation and facilities:
Ambassador City is has its charm in the rainy season, but book only Ocean Wing. Huge, empty space with a few Russians and Chinese around. Food is ok. Huge swimming pool by the sea, and nothing to do. Rent a car, or you will die from boredom. O yes, the wireless internet was the worst thing this time. It worked very slow and often there was no signal at all. Waste of money. The provider is just a cheater.

Accommodation and facilities:
Hotel complex is HUGE with 4 buildings of various sizes. Stayed in the only building that was open during our stay Ocean Wing room was of good size and the room and bathroom were clean but some maintenance was needed. They refigerator in the room did not work, and one of the can lights in the bathroom hung down about 2-3 inches from the bathroom ceiling. A all you can eat breakfast buffet was included with the room, and had someting to offere for evryone, whether you were wanting a taste of Thai food or more traditional food, there was also always fresh fruit and fresh bread. Hotel staff were always helpful and even helped us in saving some money on excursions/sighting seeing by helping to arrange a better cost for us. Hotel is located on the southern outskirts of Pattaya, but was a good location for a family vacation. Even though it had 4 pools I only saw 2 of the pools open, the one we used the most was located beach side to the hotels private beach location. My wife, myself and our 9 year old son all enjoyed our stay, and even on two occasions used the sport center facalities within the hotel

Accommodation and facilities:
The hotell is too big. If you want that personal and pleasant atmosphere this is not the place.
The hotell has a own beach witch was good and the pools was also good. But you felt like nobody in the big hotellcomplex.
The room itself was okey, the view was awsome. But if your affraid of heights this is not good, our room was on the 26:e floor and There was no ballcony. We lived in the highest of the houses witch was okey, but the first two semed to be really runned down. The place needs a renovation. The good thing is that its outside all the fuss and its a quiet place. A easy way to get to town is to rent a scooter, its cheap and easy.
The personells english was not good at all, had some problems understanding them.
I would not come back to this hotell on my next trip
