Great hotel. Nice and big rooms (we had a deluxe hill view, wich mean the cheapest). Hudge bathroom. 2 nice pools, one on the beach, good beach with sunchairs for hotel guest, hôtel located on the north of chaweng beach, so quiet but still near other hôtels and restaurant and whithin a ten minute walk from the center. Lot of motorbike rentals around. Nice buffet breakfast.
Very good hotel would recommand it. Just sad you have to pay for wifi in such an hotel, but you can find free wifi in nearby restaurants

Жили мы в Hill через дорогу, что совсем нас не огорчило у нас был выход на собственный бассейн и народу было значительно меньше, всё равно в этом отеле в море купать не вариант, мы поменяли через 3 дня отель на Fair House на Chaweng Noi, вот там реально и море и номера тоже отличные. В целом Кандабури очень хорошие номера, бассейн большой именно на Холме, близко к Чавенгу и тихо.

The hotel room was superb, we stayed in a premium room and it was very spacious, not far from main swimming pool and beach. We found the staff were very helpful and always looking to go out there way to make your stay enjoyable. The downside to this hotel is the cost of its drinks and some foods. compared to local bars, hotels and restraurants, the prices are far too pricey.

Arrival was 6 PM, spent 6 nights there. Hard to find the door lock if the outdoor lighting is broken. In return the closet door switch was broken as well so we had lighted corridor first night. Additional blanket in first night wasn´t possible to get as we reached neither the housekeeping nor room service nor reception at 9 PM via telephone! The broken lamp in front of the room door was replaced 5 days later when we left, thank you! Parasole at pool was haggled and nobody cared, pump at the pool very loud, air condition in room even on lowest fan level extremely loud so we had to turn it off over night. Air condition control was not EMC-safe so we had noise and jitter on TV when the switch was activated, mind impact on human body - not legal in Europe and needs replacement! The hotel has table tennis facility frequently used by guests where nobody was caring to provide new balls nor rackets or anything. After the remaining ball got broken my girlfriend was told the balls were finished and thats it . After my intervention to the manager on duty they got some balls, but were unable to bring them to the TT facility as agreed so after an hour I had to ask again at the reception. Breakfast is very good. Beach is narrow but nice, water is shallow (90cm) even at high tide. Chaweng beach center is in reach by a 15 minutes walk. Overall we come to the conclusion never going there again because we received the impression nobody is checking and maintaining the provided facilities and the guest has to claim for everything by himself what should be implicit. All show and no substance, what a pity!

Very large hotel spread over the 2 sides of the main Chaweng Rd. Premium rooms are quite large and close to the beach. Rooms were nice, although a little outdated. Staff very friendly. Beach pool and beach front very nice. A lovely 15 minute stroll to town along the beach. Restaurant prices not the cheapest - better value further along the beach. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

We stayed in Kandaburi for 7 days in a Premium Room and it was the 3. hotel on Koh Samui and absolut the best we stayed at. Good service, nice pools, nice big rooms and short walking distance to Cheweng without all the noice.

We first booked 5 days at Kandaburi but wanted to check in 2 days early to we would stay a total of 7 days. It was no problem even that we booked the 2 ekstra days 2 hours before check-in.

We spent 6 lovely days in this Resort. The stayed in a hillside double-room which was great (huge bathroom). The breakfast area was in the same part of the hotel and the way to walk to the beach took only few minutes and was no issue. Staff always very friendly and helpful! Very nice pool(s) and garden area with lots of plants and trees. The beach was BEAUTIFUL and when walking past several other hotels we agreed that we definitely made the right choice. The hotel offers a shuttle to Chaweng 3 or 4 times a day, but walking to the city center is also okay (around max. 1,5km).
Cannot make a comment on the restaurants as we always went outside for dinner.

Very efficient, helfpul, reliable and quick travel booking portal. Used it twice for our stay at Samui and prices are much, much better than booking it on-site.

Hotel facilities and amenities ranged from low to adequate to excellent. I will start out with some of the greater aspects: the free buffet breakfast every morning was an unexpected surprise and we felt lucky to have it. The staff serving the breakfast were extremely friendly and helpful. And although the food was the same every day, it was good and there was a good variety of foods, as well. We also enjoyed the cleanliness of the pool area and the staff serving us when we stayed on the beach. They brought us our ordered beverages promptly and served us well. On the other end of the spectrum, however, the low points were the fact that our initial room had a leaky faucet. Then we had to change rooms because our room was leaking into the room below us. Our new room had problems with the air conditioning though and that took a while to fix. Also, the laundry service was a little spotty. Not all of our clothes were returned promptly as we expected they would be. Also, some of our items were shrunk even though we requested that our clothes be washed in cold water. Overall, our stay at Kandaburi was adequate, though could have been slightly improved. I believe that with some minor fixes this could be a great resort. Oh also, our taxi failed to pick us up at the airport on the day we arrived. Granted, we told them of our incoming flight number only 3 hours beforehand, but (1) it only takes 5 minutes to get a taxi to the airport from where they were from and (2) they knew we were arriving that day and when we did call sawadee, the representative said everything was fine and a taxi would be at the airport waiting for us. If we called too late, why did they confirm that a taxi would be waiting? When we complained, they said we called too late and that was why. That was a bit confusing to hear those two sides.
