I would not recommend this hotel. The grounds are nice, but not worth the price. The rooms are OK, but again not worth the price. The staff were horribly inattentive. The bathroom was dirty, and the hot water didn t work for the first three days of my stay, despite my complaints to the front desk. I asked to speak to a manager who never got back to me. Overall I would not stay here again or recommend anyone stay here.

A nice , quite place. But the security is not good. Three bungalows missed after one evening mobilephones, a watch and money. If you stay there, please use the safes at the front desk.

Nice location right at the beach. Very nice architecture, style of the bungalows. The hotel had a just opened spa with excellent massage! Service was friendly but with lots of misunderstandings due to the poor command of english among the personell. Nice pool with a wonderful view of the sea and the mountains! Two problems though: the resturant was expensive and not very good. The beach was not as nice as we had hoped for. Not crystal clear water and with lots of stones and pebbles, not as soft as we would have liked.

- Beachfront Pool The overflowing, swimming pool are so close to the sea that you think you are inside the Bay of Klong Prow Beach included bar in the Pool, Jacuzzi and Children section. Desk beds with mates and umbrellas available. - Canoes and Kayaks Canoes and Kayaks to row a round the beautiful bay of Klongson 1-2 or 3 seating available for rental. Opening from early morning to sunset. - Elephant Trekking You can go elephant trekking at two places on the island. Chang Chutiman operate elephant trekking to the interior of the island and from Klong Prao. Baan Kwan Chang offer elephant treks that take place in an inland valley to the North of the island. To get there turn inland at Klong Son and proceed about 2 km. - Firefly The cruiser voyage alongside Mangrove to go sight seeing around waterside and firefly adhered on the Mangrove tree; Nighttime shiny and flashy sky like Christmas tree. - Island Hopping A variety of boat trips are available around the islands. These can be used as a means of travel between the islands or simply to go for a day trip of sightseeing or snorkeling. - Mountain Bike Mountain bike straddle venture around the outer-ring island to tour vision view and wonderful beauty of Koh Chang - Snorkeling and Diving Snorkeling can be arranged on most of the islands and on the mainland. If diving is your cup of tea, your best is to contact one of the dive centers on Koh Chang- there are several PADI certified dive centers there with knowledgeable staff to guide you. |

Transportation to Koh Chang : Koh Chang is easily accessible from Bangkok and many popular destinations in Thailand, some of which include the following : By Private Car : For convenience and better road surface, take the elevated Bangkok-Chonburi Toll way until its final exit or the Bangkok-Chonburi Motorway and exit for Ban Bung-Klaeng-Chantaburi By Air : A new airport at Leam Ngop is currently operated by the privately-owned Bangkok Airways. Trat is conveniently linked to Bangkok and other key tourist destinations such as Phuket, Samui, Hua-Hin, etc. Using their 72-seater ATF aircraft, the flying time from Bangkok to Trat will be shortened to just 45 minutes. You can expect easy connections to the pier from there. By Ferry : Leam Ngop Pier, the main pier, ferries from this pier depart every hour. Traveling time is about 30 minutes. |
