We booked for 2 nights for 1000 Baht per night. After the first 2 hours we knew we couldnt stay more than 1 night in this hotel. So we checked out early....VERY early. The room smelt damp, it was damp. The bungalow wasnt that clean. Think there was more wildlife living inside the room than outside in the gardens. As for the pool, i wouldnt even bath my dog in it. As for around the hotel.... well if your looking for peace and quiet... you will have come to the right place.!!! This place is dead!!!!! If your 50+ yrs old tis is for you. But of course everybodies experiences are different. You might check in here and love the place. All i know is it was a complete waste of money for me and will never return.

the staff were very good and freindly,the resort its self is a bit run down,nothing that could not be sorted easily,however the room was good,restuarant and pool area good and a nice spot on the beach,would easily go back.

Great place to stay with private rooms/bungalows in garden setting right on the beach with fresh water swimming pool, massage, breakfast buffet, restaurant and bar, nice pool table, darts too. Staff was friendly, clean and always returned a big smile.

Place has had it s glory but is still good place for the money it costs. Muffy smel in room is minus why I didn t stay longer as planned.

Superior rooms have a strong smell (old / humidity); we try several rooms and it was the same. Bathroom could be enhanced(water in all the bathroom after the shower, old painting). Only 2 little soaps (no shampoo) and not changed everyday. The first two days, the beach in front of the hotel was the only part of the beach not cleaned (plastic bags ...). For the price, we found it below our expectations. Location in the island is ok but a bit far from fisherman village (lot of restaurants and shops). Seaview is good, swimming pool and sea are ok. Not many places on the hotel beach. We did not try the hotel Restaurant and massages.

A tad dated and not the best food in a world of tasty curries and top eats, but if you can haggle some money off the price all the good. Bit quieter being at the end of the beach, but a positive experience.

Is a nice, small and cosy beach resort. Direct at the beach with friendly stuff and very good breakfast. The Standardbungalow are cheep, but very old! Superieur better!

Sono 8 anni che vado in vacanza a Samui ma è la prima volta che alloggio al Sandy resort la mia era la camera più economica grande a abbastanza per una persona in due si è un po stretti. L aspetto è un po spartano ma pulita ed efficiente poi va un po a fortuna altre camere della stessa categoria erano più ben messe in perticolare il bagno. Ma se come mè l importante avere un letto, una doccia calda e una colazione la mattina allora siete nel posto giusto.Ciao Dario. p.s. ho alloggiato nella camera 211 a settembre 2008

We loved our stay at Sandy! We stayed in one of the standard bungalows with good air conditioning, tv and fan. The air con was great as we could leave on all day, the fact that it was quite noisy was the only issue. The bathrooms could do with an upgrade, but for what you pay is adequate. The pool is awesome especially as the sea isnt the nicest. The restaurant has a wide ranging menu and great beach location. Bo phut is a great location with a really cool fishermans village and not as full on as in chaweng. The staff were the best and really went out of their way, especially if you are nice to them, be rude and you wont get what you want.
