At Malina's, an all-day bistro, bar and bakery, indulge in a choice of innovative mouth watering Western cuisine, or selected Thai and regional specialties. There's also a truly original selection of pizzas, which are baked on the premises along with a wide variety of bread products.

Inside Malina's the decor is cool burnished steel and glass, complemented by splashes of flame yellow and red in the abstract artwork. One can relax over a drink and a meal at custom designed tables and chairs, or sit at the jade colored glass and steel bar that sweeps across the width of the air-conditioned restaurant. Al fresco seating is provided on two levels of terrace, looking out over the ever-changing sea view. Malina's is open for all-day dining from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m.

Wine and Cigar Shop at The Aspasia Phuket

The wine shop has an intriguing list of more than 80 wines, Champagnes, sparkling and fortified wines. Casual drinkers to experienced tasters will find something of interest amongst the different varietals and countries of origin. From the new and the old worlds, from the inexpensive to the high end, there are wines for everybody to enjoy. Value for money and a balanced and structured selection are the pervading themes. To complement the wines, a selection of glassware and wine accessories is displayed for sale. The cigars, predominantly from Cuba and South America, are carefully stored and displayed in regulated humidors. A brief description of each cigar type is available to aid the selection. To ensure that all the beverages and cigars are kept in the best possible condition, the whole shop is temperature and humidity controlled twenty-four hours a day. Fruit Carving Lesson
There is a long tradition of fruit carving in Thailand, especially in the presentation of food for the Royal Family. Fruit carving is also used when giving food offerings to Buddhist monks, or when entertaining special guests.

Though our instructor is an experienced fruit carver, the lesson is suitable for beginners as it starts with the basics. The attraction of Thai cuisine lies not only in the wonderful tastes and flavors, but also in the artistic presentation.

LOCATION MAP


The smallest of Phukets three main tourist beaches, Kata Beach remains picturesque and unspoiled. The beach itself is wide, gracefully curved, and bordered by hills, forest and low-rise structures. The sand is a sparkling white and the waters are perfect for swimming. A vibrant coral reef lies at the north end and stretches out toward Poo Island, about half a kilometer offshore. There are abundant dining, bar and tour facilities in the locale. The beach is served by local tuk-tuks and taxis and a regular daily bus service to and from Phuket Town.
