Birgitta Hellman 2009-04-12	Phuket Orchid Resort, Karon Beach We have visited the hotel Phuket orchid resort for our seventh time, so may already guess we do already like the hotel which we do. Nice staff, nice rooms but the years we were there the pools were in a much better condition but now the pools quality has started detoriating since the staff is not repairing damages in the pool for two years and such as bubble pools have stopped working one after the other. Otherwise if you look past the pool i strongly recommend this hotel, the place is nice and its not too long to walk to the beach which is nice too and there are a whole lot of friendly restaurants all over the neighbouring area. We will certainly return to the hotel even more!	Very good service, we are happy with our trip and look forward to use the same service again.
VINCENT L JONES 2009-02-12	Phuket Orchid Resort, Karon Beach WITHIN ABOUT 10 MINUTES, I KNEW I HAD MADE A MISTAKE, IF YOU WANT TO RELAX IN THE POOL, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO. THIS IS A FAMILY RESORT, AND THERE ARE CHILDREN EVERYWHERE. THE RESORT, FOOD AND STAFF ARE GREAT, WE STAYED ONLY 1 NIGHT. MAYBE IN THE LOW SEASON, THIS MIGHT BE A PLACE TO RELAX, BUT DURING HIGH SEASON, TOO MANY CHILDREN.	NOK AND THE STAFF FOUND ME ANOTHER HOTEL IN A SHORT TIME, GREAT JOB ONCE AGAIN......

Michael J Schneider 2008-12-30	Phuket Orchid Resort, Karon Beach Location to the beach was fine but not on the beach...easy 2 minute walk to beach. Service at the hotel was not good. The staff was not capable of answering questions about the general area. Also, the pool bars shut down at 4:30 or 5pm during the middle of happy hour...not sure why and they had no explanation. Breakfast was OK. Room safe cost extra...not sure why other than to charge extra. pool was always full and no place to sit (during high season) so poolside seating was limited. if you have young kids (2-8 years old) than you should be ok as the resort is mainly set up for families with young kids. There are other resorts with better service in the area for similar price. If your looking for desent service (generally speaking) we were a bit disapointed!!!	Booking agent/service was fine but could have given us better info about the resort service before we paid non-refundable deposit.

I would definately return to the Phuket Orchid Resort on my return to Thailand. It was a memorable experience!	very simple and straight forward. easy to complete
Boowie 2008-08-24	Phuket Orchid Resort, Karon Beach For those that like a more relaxing place. This hotel will be great place, walking distance to the beach and eating place. My 3 little kid enjoy the Children Pool a lot. Only thing the room are a bit small for a family with 3 children.	No problem
Tzur hadassa 2008-07-31 until 2008-08-05	Phuket Orchid Resort, Karon Beach we loved the hotel. it is great for families. we took the family room and it was very conviviate. the hotel have big and lovely swimming pools and nice slop. it is near the sea (althow there is no sea view)	good as allways
Barry Woods 2008-07-26 until 2008-08-03	Phuket Orchid Resort, Karon Beach Stayed here for 8 nights with hubby and two children aged 8 and 11 years. The kids loved it! Kids happy, parents happy! Fantastic pool facilities.Breakfast great, lots to choose from. Local knowledge by reception staff I found to be quite poor.Tour desk highly overpriced compared to other independant travel agents located on the same street as resort. My advice shop around.Local restaurants great. Kata only 10 min walk from resort, with more great restaurants.Karon very quite compared to Patong.Shopping not that great. If rest and relaxation is your main aim then this is the place for you. If you want lots of variety in shopping , dining , and a great swimmimg beach ,then Patong is where you should be. Can t fault the resort, but by choice would rather stay in Patong for our next visit.	Fantastic! Very prompt with their communication regarding booking. Will definately use again.
Michael Patton 2008-07-22 until 2008-07-26	Phuket Orchid Resort, Karon Beach Hotel was worth the money, but l didnt like walking up two lots of stairs all the time, with the baby and pram, pool was good, a little bit small thou, breakfast was great except for the hard bacon pieces.	They are the best to deal with, quick and spot on, thanks again Sawadee

Nice hotel - love the pool areal, great breakfast, loving staff, allways kind and helpfuld. only bad time was the kidclub. there where not many things.... so rember toys on your on....	exellent.... thom up.
