About the hotel:
Very good location and the rooms were OK. Unfortunately there was a very bad shower, the water hardly wash over the body and hair. I hope the hotel look over the showers!

About the hotel:
At arrival the woman at the check-in desk was very disagreeable. We got a room with very low standard, not the one we paid for. After complaining we got another room with separate wc. At last the director gave us the room with AC, hot/cold water, TV we have paid for.

The booking service was very helpful when we asked them to mail details about our booking so we could show what standard of room we had bought.

Hotel was good value and good location, plenty of space in room, efficient A/C, comfortable beds, however the bathroom and toilet left a lot to be desired (dirty and smelly).

About the hotel:
We do not have too much demands.. but when open door and want to go out, the stinky smell of urin was there all the time.. Urin was also running at the sides of the nearby restuarants. Our family will not again use this hotell. There are other beaches and other hotell at Koh Samed that want to have guests and treat them as guests.

About the hotel:
Saikaew Villa has to be the absolute worst Hotel on the Island, for the money that we paid. Our room was full of Mosquitos, even after we complained. When walking from our room to the three food establishments, the smell of sewer was worse than Bangkok. They have got a big problem, that they do not seem to care about, as I noted there were comments from 2008 about the same thing. We went thinking that they would have fixed it by now. Very unhappy and would never consider them again. The staff acted like we were imposing on them, when eating. We did not leave any TIPS due to the unfriendly atmosphere of the Staff.

Booking service was great. Thank you for the timely information, I just wish we has gone to another hotel. We paid 1750 baht per night, and the room was crap.

We spent 3 nights at Saikaew Villa. 6 adults. We are very pleased with the place and the nice staff. This is the second time we spent at Koh Samet.

Good value,very good location with obliging staff.The beach frontage is the main feature and undoubtedly one of the best in Asia.Sad to report that this beautiful place is spoilt by the number of dogs,and their excrement that litter the beach.37 dogs counted along a 300m stretch!
