Accommodation and facilities:
Beautiful, lush exterior surroundings w/narrow paths. Had a deluxe fan hut and it did not meet our expectations.Thank goodness we only brought in an overnight bag...no place for suitcases and the bathroom shower needed a remodel. My husband did not take one. I did. There were 4 new tiles on the shower floor and if you ventured off them, you would not be a happy camper.
We enjoyed the restaurant for dinner: the green curry and hot lemongrass drink were excellent. There was live music and it was a short walk to the Night Bazaar. left the following morning. Breakfast was included and it was fine.
Reservation service:
Easy to use and most efficient.

Accommodation and facilities:
At the time of check-in, the reception clerk was very nice and efficient. Information was provided about breakfast the next morning and what time it would begin. The next morning, there were no staff in the breakfast area and I had to seek out a person at the front desk who told me that no breakfast was available because all of his staff was on holiday. He told me and my companion to buy breakfast at 7-11. After I complained, breakfast was finally provided. The room was ok with the exception of the shower. The shower head was clogged which made it very difficult to take a shower. The problems with getting breakfast, which had been paid for in advance, ruined the stay.
Reservation service:
Very good!

Accommodation and facilities:
Well, pretty disappointed after finding out that its 100% cheaper to walk in instead of booking on line. Called agent and the resort managed to change the room type but deducted my breakfast which was included in my previous deal.
If you do like nature with creepy crawlers and sounds accompanying your sleep, you may choose this, if not i suggest another resort instead.
Reservation service:
Agent was kind enough to assist after finding the dicrepancies in rates. Not bad.

Accommodation and facilities:
Reservation service:
booking ok

FACILITIES
& SERVICES
Foot Reflexology
There are many good places
in Pai, however we highly recommended a visit to A The Massage@Mamalon
roma Massage There are many local banks located in Pai Town that have
ATM and foreign exchange services.
Siam Used Books
(th Rangsiyanon) carries a good selection of used fiction
and nonfiction. Wat Phra That Mae Yen This temple sits a top a hill and
has good views overlooking the valley. Walk 1 km east from the main
intersection in town, across a stream and through a village, to get
to the stairs (a decent climb - 353 steps) that lead to the top. Or
take the 400m sealed road that follows a different route to the top. |

LOCATION
MAP
|
Pai is considered to be the 'Phangan' of the mountains and as we
do in Koh Phangan at Baan Panburi Village, we aim to be the best natural
accommodation in Pai to serve you as your home away from home. and to
live to our tradition as having the friendliest service and smile, and
take care of travelers and guests whom we considered as our friends.
Beside providing clean traditional hut accommodations and travelers
guide, we also provide you with great food as well.
It first
appears that there's not a lot to see in Pai (pronounced like the English
word 'bye' not 'pie'), a peaceful crossroads town about halfway between
Chiang Mai and Mae Hong Son. But if you stick around a few days and
talk to some of the locals, you may discover some beautiful spots in
the surrounding hills.
Most of the town's population are Shan
and Thai, but there' s also a small but visible Muslim Chinese population.
Attracted by easy living and a small live music scene, Pai nowadays
also features a sizeable collection of long-term visitors - mostly farang
and Japanese - who use the town as a place to chill out between excursion
elsewhere in Asia.
Northwest of town , a Shan village, a Lahu
village and Lisu village, a KMT village called Ban Santichon (San Ti
Chuen in Yunnanese) and Nam Tok Mo Paeng can all be visited on foot.
The Shan, Lisu and KMT villages lie within 4km of Pai, while the Lahu
village is near Nam Tok Mo Paeng, which is another 4 km farther from
town (8 km total).
You can cut the hike in half by taking a Mae
Hong Son - bound bus north about 5 km and getting off at a signpost
for the falls; from the highway it's only 4 km (about 2 km beyond the
Pai Mountain Lodge).
